only time will tell if i’ll allow the scenery around to eat me alive

Lyrics (I won’t do this for all, but I like to follow along sometimes, and I like to type them out for some reason, and this is my site I can do what I want):

Only time
will tell if I’ll allow the
scenery around to
eat me alive

I wanna sleep for weeks like a dog at her feet
even though I know it won’t work out in the long run
so I burn down the wall
breathe my good shadow those
arms I once knew
hold me like gold
I learned how to speak
forgotten language
I fall in the sea but forget how to swim

When anything that’s anything becomes nothing that’s everything and
nothing is the only thing you’ll ever seem to have

When anything that’s anything becomes nothing that’s everything and
nothing is the only thing you’ll ever seem to have

But only time will tell if I’ll allow the scenery around to eat me alive

I wanna sleep for weeks like a dog at her feet
even though I know it won’t work out in the long run
so I burn down to bone
breathe my good shadows those
arms I once knew
hold me like gold
I learn how to speak
defeated language
I fall in the street as I howl at the moon

When anything that’s anything becomes nothing that’s everything and
nothing is the only thing you ever seem to have

free time

It’s a weird thing. I would think I’d have more free time now that it’s summer, no classes to go to. I’ve still got work, and that takes up about forty hours a week, but I still feel like I have no free time.

Like, I just woke up at 11:30ish, and I have to leave for work at one. This leaves very little free time to do anything.

Granted, I stayed up until about 3 in the morning, playing some baseball game on my GBA emulator, which was approximately four hours of free time, but still. There should be more than five hours of free time between work shifts, I would think.

I think the problem is my drive time. It takes me forty minutes to get to work, forty minutes to get back. That’s an hour and twenty minutes that I am losing, every time I go to work (and most weeks I work six days).

That’s why this blog hasn’t been updated much, even though school’s out. I’m having trouble finding the time to make a post.
